Our old futon mattress was flat and uncomfortable. This new one is an absolutely comfortable mattress. If your frame is good and you just need a new mattress I would highly recommend this one!

Comfy cushion

Its hard to find a good/trustworthy futon mattress store in D/FW area. Ordered this mattress. It arrived early, packaged nicely, quality seems like it should be terrific! Specifically was looking for the 8" mattress for a better price tag.

Great futon mattress!

Got here in a timely manner.  My girls love it.  It's firm enough I can sleep on it with my bad back.

Comfy

Good buy

I needed a comfortable mattress that would fold up with my bed in the camper. This works great. It's comfortable, though not as much as I wanted, so I'm adding a memory foam topper to it. it doesn't have buttons(which is good) but it has thick white string in the button stitching, so its not solid black, for someone that may be fussy with the decor. I have a sheet on mine, so it really didn't matter. The cover is a good quality and will serve its purpose well.

While all of the shipping materials specify a Serta mattress with a Wolf foam core this item appears to be a Wolf mattress in a package marked Wolf. Unsure if that is a subsidiary of Serta or a substitution item.

Question

I did lots of research on this particular one so when I received it, I was a little disappointed. I ordered the 8" mattress. It does not measure that. The majority of the area measures 6" and the corner areas measure 7". And when sitting on it, I feel the bars of the futon frame. I am not a heavy person. My research showed if it was going to be used more for sitting than sleeping, then get the foam/cotton filled kind. If using it more for sleeping, get the spring/foam one.  I just don't feel like it is very "thick' feeling.  Heads up.... It really needs to air out before putting in the room, very strong "chemical" smell. Took a few days before smell was gone.   It did arrive when I was told it would. It was very clean and nice looking. Just not as supportive/thick feeling as I was expecting.

let the mattress sit out for 2 days to get to it's stated size and thickness been over a week now still not there guess if not using everyday it will be okay was going to use in game room but not what we were looking for

Doesn't feel any different from the basic mattress that comes with futon. Dislike it.

Dislike

This mattress is NOT 8", not an ounce of memory foam, not even made by Serta but by Wolf.  I would not recommend this mattress to anyone for anything. It is very uncomfortable to sit on and even worse to sleep on (my shoulder goes numb from it). Do yourself a favor and stay away and save your money. Tried to upload pictures to show that is it not made by Serta and that it is not memory foam but it says error.
