necessity during allergy season

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this product. It did nothing for my red eyes and in fact it made them more red, and it also made them burn. My eyes are still itching after multiple uses over weeks.

I've never used eyedrops because luckily I've never suffered from eye issues or any type of allergies before. For a couple weeks now, I've had very red itchy/ burning eyes. I'm temporarily staying with family and I'm almost certain it's caused by their cat since I have never lived with or spent more then a couple minutes around one.
   Im staying here for a couple more weeks, so I bought these to help with the red eye. I use them several times a day, and they have no affect! 
    Would a different type of visine actually be helpful? Im getting really tired of getting asked if I've been crying or high or have pink eye...
